In Self-Knowledge, neither the knower, the knowing, or the known remain. If any of these three remain, that is ego, that is duality, that is suffering.
So how can this even be called ‘knowledge’? Know that the word ‘knowledge’ is just used to signify that thoughtless non-dual intuition of Reality that is Self.
It, the Self, is indescribable, so various words and phrases, all insufficient, are used, such as ‘knowledge’, ‘know thyself’, ‘be thyself’, etc, etc. None of these are quite right, but these words and phrases can convey something nonetheless, for you ‘know’ this already. You already fully know yourself, so these words can seemingly awaken you to that which you already know.

To know the Self is just to, having severed the identity with body-mind-name-form-ego, it is just to BE the Self, that which you ARE.

Self-knowledge is an inherent quality of the Self. Self and Self-Knowledge are one and the same. The Self always fully knows itself. You always fully know what you are. Not that the ego or mind knows – that is maya – but the Self, that which you are, always knows itself non-conceptually, without words, without any mediation by the body or mind.

This can never be known by the mind-ego. That is why even brain-damage will not remove self-realisation – because self-realisation is not related to the body-mind! Realisation ‘takes’ one ‘beyond body-mind-world! If it didn’t, it would itself be temporary, and liberation is neither temporary nor is it affected by time!

The Self is Self-Knowledge. But because there is no other that the Self, it cannot be said to be knowledge really, for there is no knower/knowing/known!

In theory it looks good. But when translating we forget that self is not original word.
Self can be soul or supersoul(partama).
First you wake up soul. Then you can understand the scriptures.
Ved has hidden meanings only when soul wakes then you can understand the VED and the hidden meaning behind it.
Atma Jigayasa and then Brham jigyasa. As Shri Ramana questioned and reached about soul same way you have to question and understand parabhrahman.
People think self and they stop. Why do you think Shri Ramana read scriptures daily after self realization.
Lol think why galaxies stars were made if human were can evolve.
Just like humans merge so do stars and galaxies. Example look at Star Arundhati and Vasistha. Or merger of Milkyway and Andromeda.
Understand the creation of universe from one to 2 then these 2 keep on splitting.
To reverse back. 2 have to merge back. The 2 are consciousness and matter.
One can process knowledge other contains the knowledge.
To understand the unmanifest the manifest was created.
Ponder: You are sleeping. You hear a noise and you wake up. You smell and you wake up. Insect crawling on your leg you wake up. Blinds opened and sun light comes in and you wake up. But YOU were sleeping so who was awake to know the senses are active or getting used. That’s the consciousness (individual). As your knowledge expands more you can merger with higher consciousness.
Ponder: Do you go in bliss state in sleep. No. You can experience the bliss state when the body is awake. As to experience bliss state you need the body. Real meaning of meditation: Experience/know the unmanifest through the manifest that is the body (initially).
Duality is unmanifest and manifest. You can know unmanifest only when it manifests. That’s why the creation divided into knower and what needs to be known. Consciousness and matter /creation. That’s the game Absolute creates to know himself. So he plays the game creating the one then splitting it into 2 – knower and what needs to be known .That’s why to know things in inherent in us that’s why we explore the ocean depths, space, peaks of mountains etc. There are levels, as more known, matter gets illuminated as merger of matter and knower. Just remember everything started from darkness and we are working towards LIGHT.
Shri Ramana just focsed on the awareness part. The body was forgotten. Thats why blockages as cancer.
When known work finishes then known and knower into one which is divine love. Everything just light.
Ponder why many enlightened beings shown with halo around there head. 2 parts of the head. Kundalini. Matter rising and meeting with other part of head. Producing light. SAT=ETERNAL TRUTH=KNOWLEDGE =LIGHT.
Ponder: Why Shri Ramana guiding others. Till you are guiding that means you are still playing game of light vs darkness. Not completely out of duality.
Ponder: Who guided Shri Ramana. Shiv. Shiv is playing the game in the universe so the game has to be played. Until you are connected in divine love and then completely focused on it to merge with absolute. No Body remains its just light. Every part of matter is turned to light. Matter+consciouness = light. Light which is not seen through 2 eyes. 3rd eye.
Thats when absolute shines.

Where was Ramana Ashram. The temple is Agni. Agni in ved has few meanings one of which is knowledge.
SHIV represented by Moon. Knowledge. More knowledge more Light.
Look at OM symbol. Crescent and Dot. Dot is the absolute. It Shines. Not just the soul everything in universe and beyond no darkness.(Not through visible eyes).
6th Chakra: 2 parts of the brain. Matter rises to brain. Thats why celibacy is important. DNA has all the knowledge.
5th Temple is Chidambram. Matter and Knowledge into one Shiv and Vishnu as one.
Divine love is union of 2.

Ponder why Jesus and Buddha take rebirth. They have talked about oneness.
But Duality has many levels. Oneness is humans but higher levels. Example light vs darkness.
So ascended beings just cross one stage. Then play game of duality at next level.
Thats why stars galaxy also ascending. More light. They also have a life and death.
As you ascend you have to pick/help you other part/twin to ascend. One higher vs one lower knowledge. This game goes on till everything light and love into one.
