Papaji (Harilal Poonja) should take much of the blame for this distorted, false teaching.
He essentially invented Neo Advaita. It simply doesn’t work. There were no success stories from any of his “devotees”.
Now “Mooji” teaches an even more watered down version of it. It’s great that there are authentic teachers out there like Swami Sarvapriyaananda to set the record straight on what ACTUAL Advaita Vedanta is.
More and more people are realizing that Neo-Advaita and/or Radial Non Duality are just dead ends.
The best teaching is the teaching that encourages us to turn within and investigate ourself. The form of the teaching will look different depending on where we are on our spiritual path. All teachings are useful to the extent that they bring us to this understanding, and therefore are neither inherently good or bad. As Bhagavan has told us, there is no single teaching for the masses; teaching is to be according to the taught. Such love is that of Bhagavan. 🙏🏻
