The Shankaracharya of the North advised long ago that Shankara; who lived long before his namesake about 800 years ago (who was apparently a wise man) has had his work modified significantly by (presumably well meaning followers) but for those with significant understanding – they can recognize the original work.
If we think we have achieved self-realization, we likely need to engage in more or different practices. As in True self-realization, even the awareness ‘I’ or ‘self’ will not be there.
