The thing about trauma is the the ego claims it as “my” trauma and the very act of identifying with it concretizes and inflates it. After a lifetime of coping with “my” trauma, denying it, medicating it and even trying to meditate it away I came across self investigation. It was a “creeper” experience. I didn’t intend to address “my’ trauma with self investigation it was a wonderful consequence.
I don’t know if it was necessary to go through a lifetime of drugs and denial, suffering and seeking, psych wards and ashrams before I was Graced with this practice. I do know it works. You can let go of it. 😉
